I recommend reading the stories in order, otherwise it might be a little confusing when a bunch of characters from others books make appearances or are referred to. I loved the series from the very first book and the major story arc keeps building with each story. Each book features a different couple that get their HEA (happily ever after), but each story reveals new details about the exciting world that Ms. Owen has created. This time around the heroine has some secrets and she discovers even more. The hero has some issues, but it certainly doesn't stop him from protecting the heroine or coming to care for her. If you enjoy reading action, humor, suspense, shifters and other paranormals, and steamy romance, then you really need to try this wonderful series!Product details

Great book
I have enjoyed all three books to date and can't wait until the next one comes out.
great series , very well written and great character development , believable plot and satisfying conclusion
Third in series. The Shadowcat Nations packs are under attack from evil that want to rule over all shifters. Tieryn is a shifter with two special abilities which is unheard of. Shane is ordered to be her bodyguard . Excitement,funny,romance, this book has it all. Want to read in order to understand all that is going on.

I can't say that I always like the way the storylines go or the characters behave (Shane's behavior annoyed the heck out of me) but I can say that I eat every single moment up with pleasure! In this installment, one can never guess the twists and turns and the outcome - although guaranteed - is held in the balance until the bitter end... escapist reading at it's best!
It's been over a year since I've enjoyed one of my favorite things to do, which is reading and what a way to get me hooked again. Abigail knows how to write and this story is an excellent example. From the start you just know this is a great story. There is romance, and it is there throughout the story, but it isn't the focus of the story. There is no lull in the story. From beginning to end it keeps you rooting for the good guys. Unexpected twists, new powers and deep bonds are what make this story so captivating. I started the story and didn't want to put it down. When I had to, all I wanted to do was finish what I was doing and get back to the story. YES it is that good! Stayed up until 230 this morning because I just had to see what happened. Well worth your time to escape into their world. Fantastic writing Abigail.
I hope you have been following this series. There are some important details that may be missed if you haven’t been. However, even if you haven’t, this will do okay as a stand-alone. But, only okay.
This is an interesting world. The primary cast of characters are Mountain Lions, but there is a hot Polar Bear and his group that hangs out. The “bad guys” are the “pack animals” like wolves. In this book another entity is . . . well I can’t exactly say introduced. But, that is really the best term. It definitely stirs things up.
Although, the couple of this book, Tieryn and Shane, resolve their differences and acknowledge they are mates, the over-arching story-line still has many questions.
The action and story is good enough that I look forward to the next installment of the series.
